| How about "She must have strong arms to handle a head-angle like that." |
| From: JJ (JeffriesJ@yahoo.co.uk) on 2 August 2006 |
| Who is it anyway, Like WOW. Is this what cycle couriers look like nowadays? |
| From: John Shackford (john.shackford@(nospam)blueyon) on 2 August 2006 |

I wish you wouldn't whett everyone's appetite in this way. I can't wait to receive my copy. Are you going to produce binders? Best wihes Geoff |
| From: Ralf Grosser (buzzstarkbier@aol,com) on 2 August 2006 |
The youg lady on the cover seems to be rideing a bike with the onelegged fork, that has become the trademark of all Burrows designs. Ralf |
| From: Seamus (seamustuff@yahoo.co.uk) on 2 August 2006 |
I bet I know who's going to get his copy last (again).
The Burrows mono-fork is 'cos Mike really hates front panniers.
The out-of-focus-man looks surprisingly like Tom Johnston.
So when am I getting my free lights then? |
| From: John J (cycles@xntrick.co.uk) on 2 August 2006 |
>So when am I getting my free lights then? (Seamus)
When the evenings get light enough to cycle home without them I guess |
| From: mike (mike@gn.apc.org) on 2 August 2006 |
the "Buyer's Guide: recumbent trikes:" may be too late if the mag doesn't get out in time, my father's just about to buy one and he was just about to make a decision.....
Five minutes on my Brox and he went recumbent mad!! |

£10 prize for the first person to invent a mono-front pannier...
;-)
PS. It's not because a mono-fork makes tyre changes infintely easier, then?

I thought Mike B said it was because one wide stick* can be lighter and stronger than two thinner ones.
*Or possibly tubes? |
| From: andy scaife (yorkdutchbikes@yahoo.co.uk) on 2 August 2006 |
| By the way guys, the bike is the 8-freight. I've ridden it and it's by far the best load bike ever built, whatever the article says. Sorry, not acquainted with the rider, but for a small consideration.... |
| From: Seamus (seamustuff@yahoo.co.uk) on 2 August 2006 |
| I wonder if that god-like cycle design genius has read the BHPC rag yet and what he made of my experiment? |
| From: Legs Larry (legs_larry@yahoo.com) on 2 August 2006 |
| I've heard nothing so far, but I didn't go to Manchester yesterday either... |

wHAT SPRING?
i AM SO GOING TO KILL THE IDIOT WHO THOUGHT THE CAPS LOCK KEY A GOOD IDEA.
Oh. THE Spring.
Presumably round about now Pete's is busily dropping copies into envelopes, licking down sticky then putting stamps on ready for tomorrow.
We all know who's getting his last, and justifiably so, but who'll be first I wonder?
Find out here tomorrow.
