York Cycle Show this weekend!

We'll be there with Velo Vision and Electric Bike, and hope many readers will join us on the Velovisionaries pub ride on Saturday...

The York Cycle Show is on this coming weekend. As usual we'll be there with back issue bargains - and also this year we'll have details of our new Electric Bike publication on show.

See our report on last year's show... do a website story search for 'York Cycle Show' in the box below left for more!

As ever we'll have a VeloVisionaries ride on the Saturday evening, after the close of the trade show. The route and destination (the Ship Inn, now under new management!) are the same as ever:

Let's meet at 6:30 PM outside the front of the trade show area... all are welcome!

  • I'll probably use the road, those tight turns are a bit much on my trike.

  • DRINK!!!!!

  • Ha! You want a Catrike Dash - I did that tight turn just today on mine, with room to spare....

If some prefer to ride the road way, I'm sure we can arrange to split the group - I'm happy to 'lead' a road group.

On no account whatsoever must it become a race though. ;-)

  • I'll be thinking about you when I watching, \"Doctor Who.\"

  • OK Arch you're on! To lead the road group not race, I'm far too old and unfit to race!
My Kettwiesel needed lifting over a gate last time I tried to get to the pub along the track.
this was due not to the turns but width issues.
I suspect the QNT with fairing would be far worse!

  • Ok, that seems like a good plan - it's a dead easy route, out along the Bishopthorpe Road, with just one little hill up and over the ring road. Hopefully not too trafficcy at that time on a Saturday.

  • Hows the weather?

  • Saturday afternoon and after a damp and breezy run to Thorp Arch we're waiting for the VV pub run.

#WE ARE GOING TO THE PUB!#

More when we get back and sober up!

  • From: Geoff on 21 June 2010
  • The road riders followed Arch on her trike and arrived first of the VV riders. Unfortunately Arch had neglected to put a shilling in the out door heating system so after one pint (Ever had a Black Sheep ice lolly?) we left for warmer climes.

Thanks for the lead out Arch, I'm going into training before next years run! (NOT!)
