I am selling my Giro 20 because I have bought a replacement (a Giro 26).

This bike was bought new in December 2008 from Kevin at D-Tek. It is a Medium / Large frame size and has done approximately 1000 kilometres. I have upgraded the original specification as follows: Shimano Deore 26/36/46 Chainset with one piece crank / hollow bottom bracket. Avid BB7 front disc brake. SRAM X7 shifters. 40 mm Marathon Racer tyres, Front and rear mudguards.

You will see in the photos that I have retained the rear V brake as it made for a stronger carrier mounting. The bike can be supplied with the rear BB7 disc or the V brake. The disc brake calliper(and disc) are new, purchased at the same time as the front. I can fit these if required.

The bike is shown with a carrier, pedals and bottle cage which are not included in the sale.

Condition is very good. Mechanically perfect. Frame is virtually unmarked with no scratches. The front r/h crank paintwork has been scratched/rubbed but this does not extend to the alloy.

I have original boxes and packing materials. the bike can be partially dismantled and shipped to purchaser at their expense. Collection recommended however. I am located in SW Scotland. P.M. me for more pics or phone me on 07739 989695.

Price £695.00.

HPV StreetMachine

I’m selling my StreetMachine.
It's in excellent condition and had very little use, which is why I have decided to sell it. Shame really, but the design doesn't quite suit me. Once sold I can start thinking about a suitable alternative.

Spec:
Under seat steering
Full suspension
Rear – DNM hydrolic shock
Front - Meks Carbon Suspension Fork
Alexrims DA16 rims front and rear
Avid Single Digit 5 V-brakes front and rear
Avid brake levers
Rohloff 14 speed hub
46T chainring to a 16T sprocket
Seat (size – medium) with airflow seat cover
Rear carrier for full size panniers `
Mudguards
Mirror
Stand
Wiring for lights – cables running inside frame, but no lights fitted
Colour - Silver

I'm looking for £1400 - a fair price I think with a Rohloff.
Location - Taunton, Somerset.

I've listed the full spec, but I guess anyone interested in this will know a fair bit about them. It is also advertised on the CTC forum where a I have posted a photo.

Please contact me if you want photos or have any questions.

Thanks

FOR SALE: Electric assist 8 Freight

I have a very well used 8 Freight for sale. It has been upgraded with a set of red Curtis forks which are the same as the ones on the Cycles Maximus load trikes. This was a special order, through Cycles Maximus, so the forks could hold a Heinzmann Electric Assist motor and the Juisy five hydraulic disk brake.
Everything else on the bike, mono hub rear brake, 8 speed twist grip, rear wheel are as an original 8 Freight.

Comes with lightweight lockable black box (capable of carrying two archive boxes on their ends side by side) to replace original rear flatbed and canvus (well used) combination.

The bike has been used for deliveries in hilly Nottingham so it has scratches on the wide rear load carrying frame from use, everywhere else in good condition esecially front forks. Many photographs of the bike to send to show set up and condition. Electric assist is great to get rider and loaded bike away from traffic lights and up hills with ease, just twist and go. The assist also means less strain from rider and less strain on bike frame and chain from a rider trying to power away from a standing start or when riding up hills, so parts will last longer than a non assist load bike.

Many pounds spent on a great load carrying bike, but due to changing delivery contracts we now are looking to sell, offers around £1000.

Delivery can be arranged separately once address is known.

FOR SALE: HP Velotechnik Sprirt, Red & Black

I have a Red and Black HP Velotechnick Spirit that is looking for a new home. After a couple of years of only using the Spirit Recumbent for a couple of long distance charity rides I am reluctantly selling the bike.

Apart from a small 1cm split on the seat cover it is in immaculate condition and rides wonderfully. I have taken many photograps of the bike to send to anyone with genuine interest in the bike.

It is the older model with the small 16" front wheel and 20" rear, front and rear black mudguards, 8 speed twist grip gears, full suspension, shimano M545 pedals, cable disk brakes, manual and red touch up paint (paint never opened, very good paint work)

I can arrange the bike to be boxed and sent to anywhere in mainland UK, looking for around £900 (this includes delivery costs).

Tandem for Sale

For Sale, a 'BikeProject 5500' Tandem.
Despite being a long time subscriber to Velovision (fantastic) I have never heard of this bike or manufacturer. However when returning from Italy in about 2003 we popped into a supermarket over there for some wine and came out with 60 bottles of wine and this tandem...
It is a fairly basic but neat enough design, upright bars, 700 wheels, bottle dynamo lights, rear carrier and centre stand. Rear rider has a fairly low step through bar to negotiate. Just a six speed cassette at the rear. Being Italian it is left hand drive (ie front brake on LHS), though gears are still on right. Finished in red.
The truth is myself and my wife prefer being on our own bikes, so despite occaional efforts, we don't really use this - it has done less than 20 miles from new. My 5 year old is too young to reach the back pedals, so I am selling it to fund making a triplet for the kids school run.
In south Lincolnshire, uk
Offers around £150?
