Weather update... We'll be working from home over the next few days, as snow covers York and makes commuting hazardous...
Velo Vision magazine is based in York, and in recent days it's been increasingly difficult for me and my colleagues to reach the office. I struggled in on two wheels through five miles of heavy snow and gridlocked traffic this morning, and a good four inches has fallen since. Here's the Wisper Alpino which I was riding (for a review in sister publication Electric Bike) justifying its name outside our building:
Commuting (whether by bike, car or on foot - all buses have been cancelled!) in these sort of conditions is possible but frankly not all that pleasant, and it has its risks.
With this in mind I and colleague Sue will be working from home for the rest of this week. All orders received to date have been sent out in the post. Any orders placed from later today will be processed straight away, but I won't be able to physically send any magazines out until I get back into the office next week.
Over this period the best way to contact us is by email ([email protected]). For non-urgent matters you can leave a message on our usual number (01904 692800), or for anything urgent call my mobile on 0787 624 4818.
Thanks for your patience, and safe riding to anyone out in the snow!
