London bike show gains a dayAt September's Cycle 2003 in Islington, the trade-only preview starts a day early - and there's after-work entry for the public on the Thursday evening... The London show was launched last year - to widespread approval from the trade. Based in the Business Design Centre in Islington, it's a much more diverse show than the NEC one I'm just back from - and no pounding music all day either :-) See the report in Velo Vision Issue 8... This year's show, Cycle 2003, adds an extra day compared to last year. The first two days (Wednesday 24th and Thurs 25th September) are set aside for the trade and media. But from 5 to 8 PM on the Thursday evening it is open to the general public. It is then open to the public for all of Friday 26, Saturday 27th, and Sunday 28th until 4PM.
