Off to CycleVision
I'm away to Lelystad, Holland - and the office is now closed until I return on 3rd June - just in time to post out Issue 10.
The event I'm going to is the excellent CycleVision, probably the world's biggest recumbent gathering. It takes place in Lelystad, Holland this weekend. Look out for the report in Issue 11...
There are probably 10-15 people going from the UK that I know of. Maybe see some of you website readers there!

| Back - and wading through mountains of letters, emails etc. CycleVision was good as ever - expect a report next issue. Baking hot throughout - just a few brief showers on the ride back to the ferry. Will put some pics up on this site ASAP, but now I had better get preparing envelopes etc for imminent arrival from printers of Issue 10. Meanwhile see www.ligfiets.net for pics from others. |

Weather somewhat better than last year then.
Battling against a strong headwind, driving rain, in bottom gear on an already heavy Flevo, the windturbines not getting any nearer, was the most soul destroying cycling I've ever done. When we finally turned to the north, the tailwind rose my spirits and we rode along a never-ending dead straight cyclepath for what seemed like hours. |
