Longest bicycle in the world?Now I don't know if this really is the longest bike in the world, but check out this story for a rather amazing picture... The image is the 'Picture of the week' at ZZZ online, a quirkily interesting technology column:  It's meant to seat 40 riders. One wonders if this is for real...hard to tell by the photo, but it's almost as if the bike is 'pretensioned' so it bows up in the middle when unladen - persumably the weight of riders would straighten it out... Stress on the final drive chain must be phenomenal if they all pedal! Tight corners would appear to be out of the question... Posted on 31 January 2001 Your comments ...
