CycleVision this year will host HPV World Championships


The Lelystad, Netherlands event on 5-6th June 2004 promises to be bigger and better than ever....

According to a report at Netherlands HPV site www.ligfiets.net the CycleVision organisers hope that the Worlds status of the event will increase further the number of international visitors attending - see our previous story about how to get there from the UK. It's already probably the largest recumbent event in the world, and there's plenty to see even for non-racing visitors. See numerous past reports in Velo Vision...

The same ligfiets.net story also confirms the European HPV racing championships will be held in the Tirol, Austria, at Telfs on the 20-22nd August 2004. A brief webpage is here.

    • Gagh! Just when we though there was a reasonable definition of "unfaired" they go and change it to "not fully faired". Note to self: find nice Audax ride for that weekend.

    • Oh no! I'd love to go, but sadly they've been careless enough [ ;-) ] to arrange it on the same weekend as the European Pedal Car Championships, in Leicester.
