Josie Dew hits the road againJosie Dew, famous for her travel books and extreme hair, is setting off on a new trip. Her first and best-known book, Wind in my Wheels, introduced a lively and amusing writing style which carried on into 'Travels in a strange state' and 'A ride in the neon sun'. ![]() She also writes a column in the excellent London Cycle Campaign magazine, London Cyclist. In the latest edition (Feb/Mar 2001) she 'signs off' with the news that a persistent knee problem has cleared up sufficiently for her to set off on a new trip "to New Zealand, via Alaska and Cape Horn". A new book will surely follow! Posted on 07 February 2001 Your comments ...
