Rohloff hub impresses the MTB crowdContributors to the on the mountain-bike review website mtbr.com seem to be pretty impressed with the 14-speed Rohloff hub. There are four reviews up there so far... Check it out at: http://www.mtbr.com/reviews/Hub/product_68272.shtml and http://www.mtbr.com/reviews/Hub/product_68271.shtml (they treat the quick-release and solid-axle models separately for some reason). The reviews are all very complimentary, with the weight of the unit the only serious concern for some. Reports (here and elsewhere) seem to indicate that a few teething problems with oil seals are now well and truly fixed. And there'd nothing but praise for its shifting.
