Cycle and Recycle Calendar 2004
Velo Vision has teamed up with a network of 14 cycle campaign organisations in the USA and Canada to become the exclusive importers of the Cycle and Recycle calendar. It's a 17" x 11" wall calendar packed with splendid, evocative cycling images in colour and black and white. The really clever bit is that, as the name suggests, it's re-useable: for the 2004 edition the days of the week will all match up again in 2032 and 2060. OK, it may be getting a bit yellowed by then, but what a neat idea... The illustrations are captioned in English, French and Spanish, with the calendar enlivened throughout with provocative quotes, illustrations and even images from postage stamps. It's heavily international, with scenes from around the world. The calendar celebrates the bike without borders, a sustainable transport solution that crosses the world. The Cycle and Recycle 2004 calendar is being printed any day now, and will soon be available to readers in the UK and Europe from Velo Vision. In the UK it costs 9.99, for Europe it's 11.99, or Rest of World 12.99, all including postage. You can use the online shop or use any of the other ways to order. You can see some images of the contents of the 2004 calendar on the web at: http://www.p4p.org/CycleRecycle/CyccleRecycle.html March 2004: We now have just a few left - the last few are HALF PRICE at the online shop. We suggest that readers in North America obtain the calendar directly from one of the US co-publishing organisations: see the links here for details. |
