Watch out! There are lots of scammers out there trying to rip you off, and a number seem to target small ads sites like this. If you post an ad, expect to receive several 'dodgy' emails, along with genuine enquiries. Just hit delete if you think a reply is suspicious. Offers of payment by cashiers' cheque, by third parties or shipping agents are dead give-aways - just hit delete. Be especially cautious dealing with international traders - or just hit delete. Further advice on scams and how to recognise them is available at, for example, these UK government websites: from the DTI, from the OFT, from the Home Office and probably the best of the ones I've seen, from the Metropolitan Police. Note that Velo Vision takes no responsibility for any transactions, which are a private matter between seller and buyer.
