Cycle and Recycle 2005 Calendars are here!

The ingenious cycle-friendly way to plan your year is back, now in full colour and better than ever...

The Cycle and Recycle 2005 Calendar is a 17" x 11" wall calendar packed with splendid, evocative cycling images in colour and black and white. The really clever bit is that, as the name suggests, it's re-useable: for the 2005 edition the days of the week will all match up again in 2011 and 2022. OK, it may be getting a bit yellowed by then, but what a neat idea...

New for the 2005 edition is - an extra month! No, they haven't rearranged the year, just included January 2006. This helps no end when planning that busy time of year without shuffling between calendars.

A large box of calendars has now reached the Velo Vision office from the USA:

The illustrations are captioned (all in English this year), with the calendar enlivened throughout with provocative quotes, illustrations and images. It's heavily international, with scenes from around the world. The calendar celebrates the bike without borders, a sustainable transport solution that crosses the world. Contributors include Claude Marthaler, well-known world traveller and Velo Vision writer.

Velo Vision is among 16 partner organisations who team together to produce the calendar: - if you're in the US or Canada, it might make sense to order it through one of them instead (though I'm happy to supply to anywhere in the world, including those countries, of course). Please feel free to order as many as you like via the Velo Vision online shop.

Orders received by tomorrow (1st October 04) will be sent out straight away - then there'll be a pause as I attend Interbike, but I'll catch up when I return on the 11th October. As we approach Christmas I start sending them out first class at no extra cost :-)

  • 'Orders received by ... 1 September' (sic) 'will be sent out straight away' - has Peter being building a time machine in his spare time?

  • so that's how come I got a copy in the post without actually ordering one (yet).

If I don't order it will there be major repurcussions in the space time continuum?

His claim to fame? Today being filmed for an episode of BBC's childrens show, "Balamory."

  • Excellent publication! Great detail and having it in glossy color brings it accross very professionally.
