Bo the Clown to give kids' lecture

He's talking about bikes on the 20th Jan as part of Newcastle University's public lecture programme

The free-ticket-to-get-in talk is part of a programme described here. The "John H Holmes Memorial Lectures" are intended for 10-14 year olds.

Bo The Clown a.k.a. Derek Carpenter, is a regular at cycling events, and will be trying to enthuse his young audience about the diversity of cycling and human power on land, sea and air.

For free tickets contact the Public Lectures Office on 0191 222 6136 or email [email protected] or see www.ncl.ac.uk/press.office/lectures

They say "Lectures start at 5.30, last one hour and take place in the Curtis Auditorium, Herschel Building, which sits directly across the road from Haymarket Metro Station. All lectures are free and the public are encouraged to attend. In the event of an over-capacity audience we provide audio-relay to a second lecture theatre."
